I would like to introduce myself. My name is Tom Mulcahy, and I am the father of three teenage
daughters, all away at boarding school. I am a born and bred Hyden local with an interest in
camping and exploring regional WA, and after sixteen years have recently returned to playing
hockey.
I'm an ex-farmer running a contracting business, as well as volunteering with both the Hyden
Volunteer Emergency Services as second-in command and as Deputy Chief for the Bushfire brigade. I have held these positions for a number of years, developing skills in negotiation and communication. With these experiences in mind, I feel I am well positioned to reflect the diverse needs and interests of our community. I look forward to the challenge of being a councillor.
