I, Richard Kent Mouritz of Hyden have lived in the Kondinin Shire most of my life.
I’m standing as a candidate for the upcoming council elections because, after 1 term as a councillor, I feel I’ve gained much experience and still have plenty to offer.
Being a small earthmoving contractor and farmer, I regularly travel throughout several shires and interact with many community members giving me a good “across the board” idea of small regional community needs and challenges.
As well as being a councillor for the past 4 years, I still have an active interest in community groups and look forward to the opportunity of representing the communities of the Kondinin Shire.
